  1. Reviewed the forestry operations of a forest and wood products company in PNG (Investwell Ltd) for compliance with the country’s forestry laws and policies

  2. Developed key indicators for the ANZ Banking Group’s Forest Policy for assessing the environmental sustainability of major forestry investments

  3. Prepared a background paper on establishing a carbon finance mechanism for the ITTO. The objective of the paper was to convince ITTO member countries to mandate the ITTO to become involved in the voluntary carbon market, to develop carbon offset partnerships to support the sustainable management of tropical forests in ITTO producer member countries.

  14. Facilitated a very successful Workshop on creating awareness within Africa of the opportunities under the Kyoto Protocol’s Clean Development Mechanism for additional investments into sustainable natural resource management. I prepared the proposal, sought funding for it and facilitated the Workshop.
